Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern the professional relationship between Koby’s Clean Up (the "Company") and the client ("Client"). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

  • Service Areas: Our services cover designated yard areas as well as porches, patios, decks, and walkways as specified in the Outdoor Housekeeping (OHK) agreement.

  • Pet Waste Removal Constraints:

  • Weather & Condition Limitations: If pet waste is frozen to the ground or submerged in water/heavy mud, we will only remove what is physically accessible at the time of service to avoid property damage.

  • Lawn Maintenance: For yard services, grass should be kept at a reasonable length. Overgrown vegetation significantly limits our ability to locate and remove all waste effectively.

  • Waste Disposal Policy: * No Hauling: Koby’s Clean Up provides on-site labor only. We do not haul waste or debris off-site.

  • Disposal: All collected pet waste and OHK debris will be bagged and either placed in the Client’s designated outdoor trash receptacle or left in a pre-arranged designated area on the property for the Client’s disposal.

  • Service Exclusions (What we do NOT do):

    • No Snow Removal: Our services do not include snow shoveling, plowing, or salt application.

    • No Heavy Landscaping: We do not provide lawn mowing, mulch laying, sod installation, or heavy planting. Our services are strictly limited to outdoor housekeeping and light weed whacking.

    • No Ladder Work: For the safety of our team, all cleaning and maintenance is performed from ground level. We do not use ladders for any services (e.g., no gutter or high window cleaning).

2. Pricing and Payments

  • Service Quotes:

    • Pricing is determined by the size of the service area, the number of pets, and the service location (e.g., Ashtabula, Geneva, etc.).

  • Payment Terms:

    • Prepayment Required: All services must be paid for in advance of work being performed.

    • No Cash: For security and record-keeping, we do not accept cash payments.

  • Invoicing & Billing Cycles:

    • Invoicing: We send invoices via text message with a secure Stripe link. We accept ACH, Debit/Credit cards, and CashApp.

  • Recurring Services:

    • Weekly Clients: Billed in 4-visit blocks. Your next invoice will be sent around the time of your 4th cleanup.

    • Bi-Weekly Clients: Billed in 2-visit blocks. Your next invoice will be sent around the time of your 2nd cleanup.

  • Service Tracking:

    • To keep you in the loop, we send a text notification after every visit letting you know exactly how many prepaid cleanups you have remaining on your current balance.

3. Yard Spot Treatment Policy

  • Product Use: We use Simple Green Outdoor Odor Neutralizer for spot treatments. This product is strictly used to help neutralize odors on outdoor surfaces.

  • Safety & Application: * While the product is labeled for use around pets, the Client is responsible for keeping all pets and children off the treated areas until the product has completely dried (typically 1–2 hours).

  • No Claims & Liability: * Odor Removal: This treatment is for odor maintenance only. We make no claims or guarantees that it will completely eliminate smells, especially in cases of long-term accumulation or specific weather conditions.

  • Vegetation & Property: We make no claims regarding the health of your lawn or plants. Koby’s Cleanup is not liable for any damage, discoloration, or changes to grass, shrubs, or other vegetation following the application. By requesting this service, the Client assumes all risk.

4. Cancellations, Weather & Liability

  • Weather: We work in rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather (lightning, heavy snow, or flooding), we will reschedule for the next available day.

  • Cancellations: We require 24 hours' notice for any cancellations.

  • Liability: We are not responsible for damage to property already in disrepair (e.g., loose fence boards, rusted latches, or brittle screens) or standard wear and tear on lawns from foot traffic.

  • Satisfaction: If you are ever dissatisfied, please text us within 24 hours. We will review the issue and, if necessary, return to make it right at no additional charge.

4. Access and Safety

  • Property Access: Gates and service areas must be unlocked and accessible. If we are locked out, we will notify you and reschedule for our next available opening.

  • Communication: Text messaging is our absolute best and preferred method of contact. We text you when we are en route and send a text with a gate photo once your property is secured and the job is finished.

  • Pet Policy: For the safety of our team and your pets, all animals must be kept indoors or secured away from the work area while service is being performed. We are not responsible for pets exiting through open gates during our entry or exit.
