FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
We currently service Ashtabula County, Ohio
HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE WORK?
Within 48 hours of completing our questionnaire, we will contact you to discuss service options, availability, and to find out how we can meet your expectations.
After we have come to an agreement for services, we will send you an invoice via email. When the invoice has been completed, we will then start services.
When we arrive to your service location, we access the battlefield.
We prepare our tools and charge into battle, scooping up the turds that stand in our way.
After we have successfully won the battle (we always win), the turds will be confined in biodegradable bags and placed in solitary.
Since we slayed so many turds, our tools are now being attacked by turd germs! We glove up and attack those germs with a strong, pet safe hospital disinfectant that kills off any remaining spies (like Parvo). After ridding the turd germs, we leave you with a battle summary and move onto the next battlefield.
HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?
All of our services are paid for in advanced via invoice, unless agreed upon otherwise. We don't automatically make any charges to your account.
When ordering any of our bi-weekly or monthly services, we will submit an invoice for the next month's service a 2 weeks before your current service ends. You may choose to cancel your service by simply not to paying the next invoice, no questions asked!
ARE YOU INSURED?

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Unless there is lightning, heavy rain/snow, or other inclimate weather that interferes with the quality of work, we will visit! We want to be sure that we are able to service your property correctly.
Please keep in mind that if there is snow cover, it may be near impossible to recover all of the doo doo from your yard. We cannot scoop what we can't see, but we will do our best!
We will always make up for a missed clean up due to bad weather. You also will not be charged.

Our premium monthly service offers our scoop service twice a week for 4 weeks and a surprise for our pup(s) at the first visit.
Our standard monthly services offers our scoop service one time a week for 4 weeks.
WHAT TYPE OF ANIMAL POOP DO YOU DEAL WITH?
We only dispose of dog waste.
CAN MY DOG BE IN THE YARD WHILE YOU ARE SCOOPING?
So that we can perform our "doo-ty" efficiently and for the safety of our staff, your dog(s) must be inside their home.
It is safer for both us and the animal(s) if they are indoors while we complete our work. This will prevent the opportunity for injury as well as any animals escaping while we service your yard.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE POOP?
Bag it up and bring it with us! We will NOT put your pet’s waste in your trash can. We work with another disposal company that ensures proper disposal of your dog's waste. Since it can take up to one year for waste to completely break down, we use biodegradable bags and gloves to help not hinder the process. **and it's better for the environment.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW LARGE MY YARD CAN BE?
Yes, we have a size limit of approximately 1/3 of an acre. If you need a larger area serviced, please contact us for a custom quote.

15# for one dog.
20# for two dogs.
25# for three dogs.
If you have more than three dogs, the weight amount will be adjusted accordingly via custom quote.
You will have the option to remove any excess amount at a rate of $1.00 per pound.
Our bi-weekly, standard and premium monthly scoop services do not have a weight limit!
WILL YOU SCOOP MY SIDE YARD?
We understand that not all dogs go to the potty in a fenced backyard. Some use the front or side yard. Wherever that may be, we will scoop it!
Please keep in mind that we do have a area size limit of a 1/3 acre and it has must be easily accessible.
DO I NEED TO KEEP MY YARD MAINTAINED?
So that we can efficiently perform our "doo-ty", your grass needs to be regularly cut, cleared of leaves and other debris.
We will only service areas that are cleared and easily accessible (ex: open areas, walkways etc)
We cannot scoop what we cannot see.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT IT IS YOU IN MY DRIVEWAY/YARD?
Right now we are a husband and wife team. The husband hides in the background and the wife deals with the crap.
Jokes aside... Our vehicles will have a graphic on the side and we will always wear a shirt or hat stating Koby's Cleanup.
WHAT ABOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION?
We understand how easily germs and viruses are spread. Some products don't kill the germs that we need it to, and the ones that do, can be unsafe to use around our pets.
After some extensive research, we found a product called Sniper. It is an extremely versatile all purpose cleaner and disinfectant. It is used in all sorts of environments like hospitals, schools and veterinary offices. It's strong solution can kill Canine Parvovirus and all the nasty stuff, but it is gentle enough to use directly on our pets (avoid eyes). We use it to clean and disinfect all of our reusable tools and surfaces.
HOW MUCH DOES A DOG POOP?
The amount of waste a dog produces greatly depends on the size of dog, what food they eat, etc. The average sized dog leaves approximately 0.75lbs of waste a day. That's almost 5 lbs a week, and 252 lbs in one year! That's A LOT of poop!
DOES DOG WASTE MAKE GOOD FERTILZER?
Composting dog poop is like a science experiment. If the right precautions are taken, it can be composted, but it should NOT be used on crops for human consumption. Not only does it take about one year for one pile of poop to decompose, their poop is also full of nasty bacteria. One gram of poop can hold 23 million bacteria, not to mention all of the other nasty parasites and viruses. Dogs also have hi-protein diets which makes their poop acidic and full of nitrogen. As it breaks down, the plants do not get the nutrients that they need.
CAN'T I JUST MOW OVER MY DOGS POOP?
Mowers will chop up the waste into smaller pieces and spread it throughout your yard. Spreading ALL of those bad bacteria, parasites and viruses.
That's why we recommend to schedule a clean up a day or two before you plan to have your yard mowed!
