FAQ
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
All of Ashtabula County, Ohio!
We are also happy to service Madison in Lake County, Ohio,
HOW OFTEN DO YOU VISIT MY YARD?
As often as you’d like! You can schedule your clean ups once a week, every other week, once a month, throughout our season etc.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Unless there is lightning, heavy rain/snow, or other inclement weather that interferes with the quality of work, we will visit! We want to be sure that we are able to service your property correctly.
Please keep in mind that if there is snow cover, it may be near impossible to recover all of the doo doo from your yard. We cannot scoop what we can’t see, but we will do our best!
We will always make up for a missed clean up due to bad weather. You also will not be charged.
CAN MY DOG BE IN THE YARD WHILE ARE SCOOPING?
So that we can perform our “doo-ty” efficiently and for the safety of our staff, and your dog(s) we ask them to be inside their home.
It is safer for both us and your dog if they are indoors while we complete our work. This will prevent the opportunity for injury as well as any animals escaping while we service your yard.
However, we LOVE meeting our poopers. If they are friendly with strangers, they’re more than welcome to say hello! We always have treats in our pockets and a lot of belly scratches to give!
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW LARGE MY YARD CAN BE?
Yes, we have a size limit of approximately 1/2 acre. If you need a larger area serviced, please contact us for a custom quote.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY PET'S I NEED SCOOPED FOR?
If you have more than 4 dogs, or need more than 3 litter boxes, please contact us for a custom price.
DO I NEED TO KEEP MY YARD MAINTAINED?
So that we can efficiently perform our “doo-ty”, your grass needs to be regularly cut, cleared of leaves and other debris.
We will only service areas that are cleared and easily accessible.
HOW WILL I KNOW THAT IT IS YOU IN MY DRIVEWAY/YARD?
Right now we are a husband and wife team. Our vehicle will have a graphic on the side and we will always wear a shirt or hat stating Koby’s Cleanup.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE POOP?
Bag it up and bring it with us! We will NOT put your pet’s waste in your trash can. We work with another disposal company that ensures proper disposal of your dog’s waste.
CAN'T I JUST MOW OVER MY DOGS POOP?
Mowers will chop up the waste into smaller pieces and spread it throughout your yard. Spreading ALL of those bad bacteria, parasites and viruses.
That’s why we recommend to schedule a clean up a day or two before you plan to have your yard mowed!
HOW DOES YOUR DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE WORK?
After completing our quote form, we will contact you to schedule your clean ups , if we need more information etc.
When we arrive to your service location, we access the battlefield. We prepare our tools and charge into battle, scooping up the turds that stand in our way. After we have successfully won the battle (we always win), the turds will be confined in bags and placed in solitary. Since we slayed so many turds, our tools are now being attacked by turd germs! We glove up and attack those germs with a strong, pet safe hospital disinfectant that kills off any remaining spies (like Parvo). After ridding the turd germs, we leave you with a battle summary and move onto the next battlefield.

WHAT TYPE OF ANIMAL POOP DO YOU DEAL WITH?
We only dispose of dog & cat waste.
WHAT CLEANING PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
After every clean up we thoroughly clean our reusable tools. Once a week we also deep clean our vehicles. We use an all purpose cleaner called Sniper.
It is 100% environmentally friendly, and safe to use around your pets and family.
It is mild enough to wash your hands with, yet strong enough to kill viruses and bacteria like Canine Parvovirus, parasitic worms, mold, just about everything!
We use it to clean basically everything in our home! It is also used widely in hospitals and schools. The EPA has granted Sniper the lowest toxicity rating they give – in all four categories. We love this stuff!
…. and we use a little bit of Dawn sometimes.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE AMOUNT OF POOP YOU WILL SCOOP?
NO! Our scoop services do not have a weight limit!
WILL YOU SCOOP MY SIDE YARD?
We understand that not all dogs go to the potty in a fenced backyard. Some use the front or side yard. Wherever that may be, we will scoop it!
Please keep in mind that we do have an area size limit of approximately 1/2 acre and it must be easily accessible.
DO I HAVE TO BE HERE WHEN YOU COME?
If it is our first time visiting your location, we prefer that someone over the age of 18 years be present to show us around. However, if you’d prefer, we can get right to work when we arrive for your first service. We will discuss all details during our intake phone call.
We will contact you within 72hrs of receiving your order to confirm availability and if we need more information.
You will also receive a text on the day of your service when we are on the way and finished.
If there are gates, we always make sure that they are always closed behind us, when we are inside and outside of the yard. We also send a photo of the gate being closed.
WHAT ABOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION?
We understand how easily germs and viruses are spread. Some products don’t kill the germs that we need it to, and the ones that do, can be unsafe to use around our pets.
After some extensive research, we found a product called Sniper. It is an extremely versatile all purpose cleaner and disinfectant. It is used in all sorts of environments like hospitals, schools and veterinary offices. It’s strong solution can kill Canine Parvovirus and all the nasty stuff, but it is gentle enough to use directly on our pets (avoid eyes). We use it to clean and disinfect all of our reusable tools and surfaces.
DOES DOG WASTE MAKE GOOD FERTILZER?
Composting dog poop is like a science experiment. If the right precautions are taken, it can be composted, but it should NOT be used on crops for human consumption. Not only does it take about one year for one pile of poop to decompose, their poop is also full of nasty bacteria. One gram of poop can hold 23 million bacteria, not to mention all of the other nasty parasites and viruses. Dogs also have hi-protein diets which makes their poop acidic and full of nitrogen. As it breaks down, the plants do not get the nutrients that they need.
